We were on the Island this past Sunday and we were looking for somewhere to have a late dinner (9:00 PM). This place was AMAZING. Awesome food, portions, price, and taste! Our server was courtesy, fast, and just plain outstanding! We will definitely be returning.

It was our last night in SPI and we stopped here. I had Fish and Chips with coleslaw and hush puppies. The coleslaw could have had a little more flavor but the Fish was so flaky. Velma was very welcoming, polite and very attentive. Thank you Velma for a good evening. Michelle the Bartender was also very attentive. Thank you as well Michelle.

Great Ambiance Even better Food, Fantastic Waitresses.Children! Knew there behavior. The entire establishment was Gratifying, Relaxing & will be back.

The hamburger is liked pressed hamburger/lunch meat.

Steaks are great & love the chicken quesadilla. Can not say anything negative about the staff. They are so helpful & super nice! Ask to see "Boston" & he'll make you one hell of a marg! Thanks Boston!! ❤👍❤

I do not understand how this place has a 4 star rating. Food was bland and the service wasn't great. I hate that I trusted the reviews because this place was TRASH!!!!!

Very good and tasty food. We ordered the Salisbury steak with mashed potatoes topped with brown gravy and mushrooms👌 Also chicken fried chicken.

Good atmosphere reminds me of a place back home. Great food also.

This restaurant was amazing. We watched fireworks from our table that was on the top floor in their outside bar area. Their Friday night special 16 oz Ribeye dinner that included a salad and baked potatoe for $12.99 was delicious. The atmosphere was great for families too.

Honestly. Looking at all these positive reviews and I’m shocked. Came here last week and the service was horrible the waitress was so rude and basically kicked us out didn’t even ask if we wanted more drinks or desert or if we were ready for the check. Made the whole experience bad.

The staff was friendly and did a great job. Prices were very good for SPI. I had the Tuesday fish and chips special for $7.95 and was expecting small fish strips, but was surprised to see 2 big pieces of fish. It was good, but not seasoned or fried to my liking. Nevertheless it was good and I left full and satisfied. My kids were happy they had pizza on the menu and they said they liked it. I was happy I was not gouged on price for kids meals. Waitress was nice and brought my daughter colors to draw with while we waited for our food. This place felt more like a sports bar than a restaurant but that was fine with my son and I because we got to see a bit of the football game. I'm sure I will return.

The Food was so good! Our waitress was very attentive, service was quick, and food was freshly made. Will definitely go back when I go back to South Padre.

Very tasty food, huge portions, nice prices, and the staff is delightful. Will come again when in town.

Enjoyed a late night dinner with my wife & pooch yesterday on their upstairs patio/bar area. Generous portions for the cost, and the food was appetizing. Our server, Boston, was an excellent, kind gentleman who fancied up a drink for me that was nothing short of delicious. The customers themselves were quite friendly as we felt very welcomed with their conversations. Definitely returning for the good vibes and the Jameson!

Very reasonable prices and good food.

If I could give 0 stars I would. The customer service was TRASH. We came in, waited 5-10 mins for assistance. MY FRIEND FOUND HAIR IN HER FOOD no apology or sympathy at all. Literally probably took her plate to the back, took the hair out and returned it smh. And my other friend was charged 1.50 to replace one of her sides that came with her meal. THEN we were charged gratuity even though we were on separate checks and were not informed about the 2.5% credit card fee before hand. Never coming here again and neither should you. Lady with tattoos on her forearm was your “waitress” btw

This restaurant offers wide variety of food and it’s especially famous for its sea food. Its a bit congested but food taste is good. One thing I didn’t like in the restaurant is that so many TVs are placed and few of them are really close to you when you’re seated. It really doesn’t make any sense to have them that close rather it would get you neck pain if you try to watch them.

Took my mom here when she came down we ordered food for five none of us were really happy with our food, Drinks were good but some of the food seemed precooked and reheated in the microwave probably will only have drinks from now on ☹

The bartenders were excellent and friendly. The Salisbury Steak special was very good.

Wow I'm so impressed with this place! Great drink really awesome wings! Order wings! One of the best I have ever had and I've had lots of wings from different places. From san Antonio. Must go spot to go when in South Padre!

We had the best time at Montana’s! The best part was chatting with Alaska. She even gave us advice concerning where to book our hotel. If you’re ever on the island go see Alaska at the bar. You won’t be disappointed by her service or her drinks.

The food and service here sucks. They took forever to attend us, and to deliver our food. Its also very expensive.

Great place to watch sports and the food is very good. No kids under 21 allowed upstairs. Seafood is fresh and the selection of booze is decent. Lots to choose from on the menu. I prefer sitting upstairs because you get to enjoy good food and a sunset. I should also not that smoking is allowed upstairs.

Read some of the bad reviews before we went... I'm just glad we didn't listen. Service was friendly and we were able to feed my family of 5 as affordably as you can ask for on the beach. The wings were amazing and the sandwiches were huge portions. Would definitely go again.

Man this was a hidden gem. They accommodated my family which was around 20. Took good care of us. Food was very good service is very friendly and prompt. If you are out this way I certainly would recommend it.

We had the fish sandwich special. Each was enough for two people. But it was so good we pigged out and ate darn near all of it. Nice cozy place with tables around the main bar and a separate dining area as well. So many tvs. Every game is on. You won't miss a single play. Great value, great food.

Everything was crispy, large portions, and the waiter was super friendly. It was not busy when we went on a Sunday evening in June. It's got a laid back vibe to it and there is a large bar area in the center. It was a great choice for dinner after a long hot day in the sun.

Awesome food and cold beer. This was the best French dip and Chilie ever. Really enjoyed the staff too

Chicken fried steak was very good. The catfish was very good.I didn't like them charging two and a half percent extra for using a credit card.

Best food I have ever tasted as a reviewer! The quality of every single dish was unbelievable, and we finished all of our food! Spaghetti was amazing, and our waitress was friendly and awesome! Possibly one of the greatest restaurants I’ve ever been to, be sure to stop by!

Why. The kraken? It does not have a view. It doesn't have a tap. It does not have hot looking waitresses.......This is exactly why you should go.By being off the sand the restaurant is cleaner. Not as crowded. The prices are friendlier. The food is better thought of when put on the menu...Bottle beer means faster service with fresher beer and a more sanitary drink..The waitress are there to help you not for you to gawk at. . Its all good.

Food was legit, drinks were damn good. I suggest the fish sandwich.

Our bartender/server Terry was fantastic!Came to eat,drink, and enjoy the Cowboys- Dolphins game. (3-0 Cowboys)!!!! The nachos supreme with beef were excellent! Not your ordinary tortilla chips. Very good pork chops. Excellent service from Terry and a gwiwith man. Arrived today from Houston and will most likely return before heading home on Friday. Also, the prices are phenomenal. Great for sports, kids their with family. Many age groups. A lady came selling fresh warm brownies. Will try later but, recommended as great.

Raw meatballs. Forgotten items on all plates. Lowest quality ingredients. The Waitress was throwing items onto the tables, and its super expensive. This was by far the worst restaurant during our entire stay. If there was a zero star option they would get it. Don't waste your time or money.

I called to order lunch after a full morning of swimming, needing to feed 3 hungry kids. The super nice and helpful woman offered great suggestions and was patient. The pizza was perfect, the appetizer medley(or whatever it’s called) was great. She even helped me to my van with all my food :)

Severs were not the friendliest :( the food was good.

They have a great steak special and the menu is very versatile can't go wrong

I went for the fried fish plate and was more amazing then I thought. Delicious and prepared to perfection, staff is totally professional, friendly and welcoming. Comfortable environment made me feel welcomed, even met new friends and the owner introduced himself. Fish plate was plenty and super delicious. Thanks Tara for suggesting Montana's for dinner. Loved it.

Terrible customer service. Took forever to get acknowledged and the waitress with the glasses and tattoos on her forearm was very rude and impatient.
